Loved this movie when I seen it in the 80's and enjoyed it again seeing it the 2nd time in 2017. Gene Hackman does an excellent job playing Col. Jason Rhodes who is set out rescue his son and other possible Vietnam POW's and it was a treat seeing a young Patrick Swayze play Kevin Scott but interestingly enough my favorite character was Randall (Tex) Cobb as Sailor.
